![]() ![]() ![]() The hardest time was when I was working on Revit via Parallels while V-Ray was rendering, Sketchup and Illustrator were running via Mac OS but nothing crashed. I run Sketchup, Autocad, Revit, Solidworks, V-Ray, Keyshot, Rhino on both Mac OS and Windows platform, sometimes at the same via Parallels and everything is fine. I would also like to change the SSD for 2TB but again, not a must.with Parallels and Bootcamp, I still have 440Gb left with all my projects on it. I don't think that the high end 8 core processor is necessary too. Apple Mac models with M series chips are supported under Rosetta 2 mode. So I think that the 64Gb of RAM of the new 16" MBP might not be a must but definitely, I would give a try for the 8Gb AMD Radeon graphic card. I've also try Bootcamp for Revit and it is even better, all 32Gb of RAM available and as well, the AMD graphic card for rendering. I must say that even on Parallels, Revit runs better than my colleagues who use a Dell XPS. Architecture student, I bought last year the 2018 MacBook Pro 15" with 2,6 Ghz 6 core, 32Gb of RAM, Radeon Pro Vega 20 graphic card and a 1TB SSD. ![]()
